Primary Responsibilities

Administrations Department for Private Car, Commercial Vehicle (own goods) and full cycle of Taxi product. To oversee the teams who manage policies throughout their lifecycles giving the very best service. In addition to being a part of the group’s fraud team and controls for the protection and enforcement of the insurer’s policy terms and conditions.

Personal Background

I really enjoy being outdoors and activities I can partake in there; having two border collies (and a general dog crazy person) I am always out and about, and fortunate enough to live within walking distance of Formby and Ainsdale beaches, stretching over 10 miles and access to hundreds of acres of woods managed by the National Trust. For me, a holiday is camping in and around one of the many national parks in the UK – there is only bad clothing, not bad weather. My other great passions are cars and motorsports.

Employment History

Worked from 16 years old. Lincoln Life Insurance for 18 months in administration and then 18 months for East West Insurance within the agency department. I have been working for the group since 1997, with the exception of two years when I ran a pub in a Scottish Hamlet (2002 – 2004). I have been the Office Manager (Formby and Manchester offices), taken on various roles as the group has grown for both direct and wholesale, including IT Manager, DPO and Health & Safety. Qualified first aider since 2005.

Extremely proud of being part of the company’s growth over the past two decades; you cannot stay with a company for this amount of time without being extremely fond of both the colleagues I work with and the philosophies the company stands for.

Biggest milestone over the next 12 months

Self-service cancellation for Private Car and Commercial Vehicle, with further developments for other policy functionalities to do the same for our business partners.
