BIBA 2022 Conference
Formed in 1977, BIBA has a reputation for showcasing influential and inspiring business speakers during its conference. It also presents a much-needed opportunity to touch base with prospective customers face to face, having been denied the chance to do so for almost 2 years courtesy of Covid-19. So, who can you expect to meet at stall D69? Here is a quick overview of the Granite Underwriting team and the reasons they are looking forward to BIBA 2022.
Mike Owen
One of the more senior members of the Granite Underwriting staff, Mike Owen has been with the company for almost 30 years! As an Operations Manager, it is Mike’s responsibility to develop sales for Granite Underwriting wholesale Private Car and Commercial Vehicle (own goods). Mike expanded, “I have witnessed some astronomical changes and growth within the company, I am very proud of the fact I have been part of this fantastic journey.”
A proud father, his son’s multiple sporting activities mean he has no time for hobbies of his own. In terms of hopes for the future, Mike wants to ensure growth whilst providing efficient service to our Brokers whilst writing profitable business.
When asked what he likes most about BIBA conferences Mike acknowledged “I just love meeting new people and hearing their stories, finding out their requirements, and satisfying those needs with our niche and specialist product offering. It gives me a real buzz to be fair, and I’m sure the newer members of the team will feel the same!”
